About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at JABLONSKY, AST AND PARTNERS, AST AND PARTNERS INTERNATIONAL. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan Review and Inspection: Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts to ensure compliance with building codes and specifications.
  • Construction Site Inspection: Inspect the construction of buildings and engineering projects to identify any defects or non-compliance.
  • Code Enforcement: Enforce steel and concrete installation codes to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit detailed reports on the condition of new or resale homes.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction inspection or a related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and judgement.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: 37.5 hours per week, permanent position.
  • Language: English.
  • Green Job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
