Position Overview:

The Mineral Land Analyst will play a crucial role in researching, analyzing, and overseeing mineral land and contract data to bolster the company's operations while ensuring adherence to lease obligations.

This position demands a thorough understanding of the oil and gas sector, exceptional research and organizational capabilities, and the aptitude to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain precise and current land records, including deeds, titles, and surveys.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Contract Analyst and Joint Venture Representative.
  • Administer and oversee oil and gas leases, contracts, and agreements.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to federal, provincial, and local regulations concerning land and mineral rights. Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory authorities.


Data Management:

Uphold data integrity of land records by updating the CS Land software, ensuring Pieridae's mineral interests and acreage positions are accurately represented.

Document business processes related to land asset management by working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders when necessary.

Generate reports and provide data analysis as required, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records in the CS Land software.


Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Mineral Land Program or possession of a Mineral Land Designation from CALEP.
  • Strong knowledge of land and mineral rights, lease agreements, and title analysis.
  • Familiarity with federal, provincial, and local regulations pertaining to mineral land management.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in CS Land, Abadata, GeoScout, SPIN, ETS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience in managing mineral and land contracts and leases.
