About the Role

Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Land A&D to join our team in Calgary. This position will report to the Supervisor, Land A&D and Third Parties in the Land Department within our External Affairs Service Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate surface land A&D projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintain and ensure land asset record integrity, providing strategic advice to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies and post-close deficiencies related to acquisitions and divestitures.
  • Update land systems to reflect A&D transactions and ongoing changes to land and asset ownership.
  • Administer existing surface land files, including landowner assignments, file analysis, and vendor maintenance.
  • Review Title Opinions for deficiencies and rectification.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support and respond to land inquiries and communicate land requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to junior analysts and/or contractors.
  • Ensure protection of Pembina's interests regarding surface and mineral rights and contract obligations.
  • Work with the Land Department to monitor performance standards, balance workloads, and maintain internal reporting.
  • Support Land Leadership as needed.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Petroleum Land Administration Certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 12+ years of Surface Land experience with demonstrated A&D experience in both crown and freehold lands.
  • Proficiency with software related to the role, including CS Land, Landview, Energylink, Microsoft Office, OneStop, Kermit, AbaData, Land Titles, ISC, and Alberta Crown – ETS.
  • Strong knowledge of due diligence and conveyance procedures.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and provide quality service.
  • Self-starter who directs own efforts based on high-level business objectives.
