About the Job

Abe's Door Service Ltd. is seeking a skilled Garage Door Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing garage doors and related products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install exterior and interior prefabricated products, including garage doors and openers.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Repair and service exterior and interior prefabricated products, including garage doors and openers.
  • Determine layout and installation procedures for garage doors and related products.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for installation and repair tasks.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Physically demanding work environment, including working at heights and handling heavy loads.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • On-the-road job with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Permanent employment with benefits, including dental, health care, and vision care.
