About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Installer to join our team at Abe's Door Service Ltd. As a Garage Door Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and their associated hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install exterior prefabricated products, including garage doors and their associated hardware
  • Repair and service exterior prefabricated products, including garage doors and their associated hardware
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Utilize hand and power tools
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • On the road job
  • 40 hours per week
