We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at MSI. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing and developing sales and margins of our Tile product lines with the retailer/dealer network within an assigned geographic territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers within your territory
  • Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel to ensure effective product presentation and negotiation
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and product positioning to drive sales growth
  • Manage displays, samples, and selling tools to ensure customer availability
  • Consult with dealers on retail pricing, advertising, promotions, and ROI to optimize sales performance
  • Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for customer orders
  • Estimate delivery dates based on company schedules
  • Analyze sales reports to identify sales potential and opportunities
  • Utilize marketing tools to broaden reach and promote company products
  • Research and analyze customer needs and demands based on market information
  • Investigate and resolve customer claims and issues
  • Attend trade shows as required
  • Travel locally, nationally, and internationally (40-80% of the time)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in channel distribution sales
  • Minimum 2 years of related industry experience in natural stone, tile, or hard flooring
  • Strong math skills and ability to calculate figures and amounts
  • Results-oriented with ability to work independently and within a team
  • Intermediate computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Confidence and motivation to work towards targets
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well alone or within a team
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
  • Resilience to deal with customer rejections
  • Bilingual in French (optional)
