Pharmacy Operations Manager

As a Pharmacy Manager at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a locally owned and operated store, working closely with the Associate-Owner and a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the overall operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing medication, providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, and maintaining the dispensary.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and regulatory requirements, as well as maintaining customer confidentiality and consent management.
- Provide counselling on prescriptions, over-the-counter, and behind-the-counter products, and practice to full extent of expanded scope with Professional Services.
- Control access to the dispensary, review workflow queues, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Ensure all requirements for documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations are met.
- Independent thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive and build the business.
- Strong customer relations skills, a strong sense of professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Superior problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans.
- Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems.
