Job Summary:

The ideal candidate for this Retail Store Manager position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store. This includes managing staff, assigning duties, and ensuring that the store is running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure optimal store performance
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and sales potential
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement pricing and credit policies
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Plan and manage budgets, and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Determine staffing requirements and resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily store operations
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
