Senior Corporate Paralegal Opportunity

Arlyn Recruiting is partnering with a well-established law firm in Langley to find a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Corporate Paralegal to join their corporate services division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Crafting Corporate Legal Documents: Drafting and preparing corporate legal documentation, including incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, corporate and tax reorganizations, various share transactions, extra-provincial registrations, and other documents as required.
  • Minute Book Reviews: Conducting minute book reviews and addressing deficiencies as necessary.
  • Closing Agendas: Preparing closing agendas.
  • Client Communication: Corresponding with lawyers and clients to receive and confirm instructions.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentoring, training, and coaching Corporate Services staff members.
  • Administrative Support: Performing other administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Paralegal in a busy corporate practice.
  • Certification: A Paralegal Certificate or Diploma from an accredited postsecondary institution.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven mentorship and leadership skills.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of BC Online ALF, Outlook, and Word.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
