Job Title: General Labourer

We are seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team at Polyculture Plante 1987 INC. As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to fruit and vegetable combination farming.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean the crops to ensure high-quality produce
  • Hand harvest vegetables and fruits, including apples, raspberries, strawberries, sweet corn, and tomatoes
  • Pick row and orchard crops with precision and care
  • Weeding and maintaining the farm to prevent pests and diseases
  • Harvest crops in a timely manner to meet market demands
Work Environment:

As a General Labourer, you will work outdoors in a rural area, exposed to various weather conditions, including wet and hot temperatures. You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks
  • Will to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
