Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at THE JUDGE AND JURY. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as coordinating special events and planning menus and estimating food requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Coordinate special events, such as banquets and parties
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for events and daily operations
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, including equipment and utensils
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

THE JUDGE AND JURY is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be working in a kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and cooks. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
