Job Title: Line Cook

The Line Cook is a key member of our culinary team at THE JUDGE AND JURY, responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate special events and plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Work Environment:

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in our kitchen, and we require all employees to be proficient in English.Hours:

30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
