Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Panda Pod Hotel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and guests are aware of hotel policies and procedures.
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Guest Information: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the surrounding area.
  • Departure Process: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, ensuring prompt and efficient communication.
  • Special Needs: Assist guests with special needs, providing personalized support and services as required.
  • Wake-Up Calls: Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls, ensuring they are aware of their schedule and any important information.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
