Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Super 8 Abbotsford. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective housekeeping procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including scheduling and assigning duties.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and departmental policies.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services as needed.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • High school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
