Job Title: Assistant Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team at NPC/Sandman Hotel Group.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating inventory and supplies, and implementing procedures to prevent infection and ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available to meet the needs of the housekeeping department.
  • Implement procedures to prevent infection and ensure guest satisfaction, including training staff on proper cleaning and disinfection techniques.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity in the housekeeping department.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of infection control and prevention procedures.
