We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at WRHA Community Health Services. This is a leadership role that requires a strong background in nursing practice, education, and research.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership in promoting excellence in nursing practice through the application of advanced knowledge and research methodologies.
- Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines, education programs, and research projects to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address key clinical issues and program priorities.
- Provide consultation, education, and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum five years of recent clinical experience in a variety of nursing roles.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer software and applications.
- Experience in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of research methods and evidence-based practice.
- Ability to teach and mentor nursing staff.
- Fluency in an Aboriginal language and/or knowledge of Aboriginal customs and traditions.
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of autonomy and independence. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
