Job Title: Executive Pastry Chef

Kwality Sweets & Restaurant is seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the pastry department and ensuring the highest quality of desserts and pastries.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the pastry department, including supervising pastry chefs and cooks.
  • Develop and implement new dessert and pastry menus, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Estimate and control food costs, maintain records of food consumption and sales, and analyze operating costs.
  • Supervise and train staff in preparation, cooking, and presentation of desserts and pastries.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, arrange for equipment purchases and repairs, and plan for future needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality products.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a pastry chef or in a related role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
