Job Description

Job Summary

The Project Deployment Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic guidance and support to project promoters in the development of their business cases, from initial request to project authorization;
  • Identifying stakeholders and establishing governance structures;
  • Selecting and adapting methodologies and tools based on project requirements;
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation;
  • Monitoring project performance indicators;
  • Mobilizing and coordinating internal and external resources, in collaboration with responsible managers, to achieve project objectives within established timelines and budgets;
  • Planning, organizing, and facilitating project-related meetings in accordance with established governance;
  • Tracking project progress and ensuring related communications;
  • Ensuring coordination and alignment between project tasks and expertise, both internal and external;
  • Supporting lot managers in planning, executing, and tracking project progress according to prescribed timelines;
  • Piloting process revisions and associated trajectories;
  • Supporting problem-solving processes;
  • Ensuring project budget vigilance in collaboration with the Financial Resources Department (DRF), managing change requests, monitoring overruns, risks, and recommending corrective measures as needed;
  • Escalating issues and risks to relevant instances according to established governance;
  • Closing the project: conducting post-project reviews, facilitating lessons-learned exercises, ensuring a smooth transition to operations, and releasing project resources;
  • Achieving project objectives in collaboration with the project promoter, project owner, and lot managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field, such as health sciences, administration, humanities, or social sciences;
  • Master's degree in project management or a related field, an asset;
  • Three (3) years of experience in project management and/or planning, preferably in the healthcare and social services network;
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools;
  • Proficiency in MS Project, an asset;
  • Initiative and autonomy;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment;
  • Basic project management tool skills;
  • Good judgment;
  • Ability to evolve in a complex environment and work in ambiguity;
  • Change management skills.
