About the Role

Brytar Contracting Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Material Handling: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from the site.
  • Assistance to Skilled Tradespersons: Assist skilled tradespersons with their tasks and provide support as needed.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer, you will work outdoors in various locations, including urban areas and high-rise building construction sites. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Attention to Detail: You must be able to work accurately and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: You will work as part of a team and must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Working Conditions

The role is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. You will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and may be exposed to dust, noise, and other hazards associated with construction sites.

Language and Communication

The primary language of communication is English, and you must be able to communicate effectively in this language.
