About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Tiny Hoppers Early Learning Queensborough. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Engagement and Activities: Plan and lead activities that foster a love for learning, including storytelling, singing, and craft preparation, to encourage children's creativity and curiosity.
  • Support and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits, ensuring their overall well-being and safety.
  • Environment and Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment that promotes children's physical and emotional well-being, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, parents, and community service providers to ensure seamless communication and a collaborative approach to child care.
  • Reporting and Progress: Monitor children's progress, identify potential learning or behavioral issues, and prepare comprehensive reports for parents and guardians.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Licenses: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Work Environment: 30-40 hours per week, with a focus on providing a stable and supportive work environment.
  • Language: English.
