Key Responsibilities- The essential duties and responsibilities of this role may differ based on specific client needs and business requirements.
- Prepares and cooks a wide range of dishes following established production standards and recipes.
- Organizes the workstation with all necessary ingredients and tools.
- Prepares food items by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and peeling.
- Utilizes various utensils safely, including knives.
- Operates kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.
- Employs different cooking methods including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming.
- Presents, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines.
- Ensures proper food storage in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Delivers exceptional customer service and maintains a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
- Follows Aramark's safety protocols, ensuring accurate food safety and sanitation practices.
- Safeguards company assets.

Qualifications- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar position is required.
- Proven understanding of fundamental food preparation principles, various cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
- Basic math and counting skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Additionally, uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
