Job Summary

The Media Assistant Planner is an integral part of the Planning team at Spark Foundry, responsible for executing and managing approved media plans. This role requires strong analytical skills, math proficiency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Planners and Supervisors in managing and executing approved media plans.
  • Develop and organize supportive data for plans and recommendations.
  • Communicate with local Field clients regarding tactical aspects of media plans.
  • Manage contracts and insertion orders with media vendors.
  • Input non-broadcast/OLV media buys and manage discrepancy reconciliations.
  • Assist with billing process.
  • Update blocking charts, budgets, and budget summaries.
  • Assist with media research and day-to-day communication with creative account team members.
  • Update competitive media reports and technical support for presentation materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work successfully with teams and handle multiple projects under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented and able to produce accurate work product.
