About the Role

Ruskcast Inc is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate metal products.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Maintain Equipment: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a physically demanding environment with manual dexterity and attention to detail to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment with manual dexterity and attention to detail.
