MBC is looking for a proactive and skilled Technical Support Specialist to enhance our service desk operations. This role is designed for an individual who is enthusiastic about driving improvements and providing exceptional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for client inquiries and support requests
- Continuously monitor and analyze alerts on the Network Operations Center (NOC) dashboard
- Oversee ticket management within the ticketing system to ensure timely issue resolution
- Work collaboratively with the NOC team to escalate unresolved issues
- Effectively communicate incidents to technical staff for prompt resolution
- Engage in after-hours on-call support as necessary
- Fulfill all required certification obligations
Technical Proficiencies
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network infrastructure services and foundational skills in various technical domains, including Windows Server, Exchange, and virtualization technologies.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Initiative and organizational capabilities
- Flexibility in adapting to new technologies
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 1 year in a service desk role or equivalent experience
- ITIL Foundations certification is preferred
- Certifications in Microsoft Network Infrastructure are advantageous
