About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Yarmouth Appliances and Home Furnishings. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Communication: Answer written and oral inquiries, addressing customers' concerns and providing information in a timely and professional manner.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Account Management: Arrange for billing for services, issue receipts, and provide refunds and credits as needed.
  • Product Knowledge: Explain the type and cost of services offered, ensuring customers have a clear understanding of our products and services.
  • Documentation: Receive and log complaints, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Application Processing: Receive credit and employment applications, and process payments in a secure and timely manner.
  • Sales Support: Sell merchandise and provide information to customers, promoting our products and services.
  • Marketing Support: Write and edit press releases, newsletter, and communications materials to promote our brand and services.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 35 hours per week.
