About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team at Coast Building Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our sales and operations efforts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Lead and manage a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the retail market.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold, including product selection, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our products and services.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service, including resolving issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or marketing.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales or management role.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
