About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 822557 ONTARIO INC. MOM'S RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that our inventory is always up-to-date and that we are able to meet the demands of our customers.
  • Food Order Summaries: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and that our kitchen is running smoothly.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, ensuring that our menu offerings are always up-to-date and that our customers are able to enjoy a diverse range of dishes.
  • Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is delivered to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at 822557 ONTARIO INC. MOM'S RESTAURANT, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet the demands of our customers. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and sit, and will need to be able to lift and move heavy objects as needed.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Physical Abilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
