Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ERP Administrator to join our team at Watson Building Supplies, a GMS Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ticket Management: Perform routine ticket management and escalations to drive ERP-related problems to final resolution.
  • System Understanding: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the applications and infrastructure within the environment and how they impact employees, customers, and the business.
  • Remote Troubleshooting: Assist in the remote troubleshooting and resolution of customer incidents.
  • Application Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of how various applications operate, how they interact with one another, and skills to identify production errors and familiarity of the organization to contact the appropriate individual to correct issues.
  • User Account Management: Manage provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and usage to identify resource issues and maintain reliability.
  • Software Release Coordination: Assist in the coordination of new software releases, fixes, and upgrades with technical teams and users.
  • Audit Coordination: Assist with the coordination and execution of external audits.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational security rules and standards.
  • Documentation: Document relevant business processes and their implications on ERP information security as relates to SOX required controls.
  • Process Improvement: Support the continuous improvement culture through the identification of potential process/procedural improvements and/or participation on cross-functional/regional teams.
  • Departmental Support: Assist in other areas of the department and company when needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years related work experience.
  • Education: Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in computer science, information technology, or related field considered an asset.
  • ERP Experience: Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Navision, or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred.
