We are seeking an experienced ERP Systems Administrator to join our team at Watson Building Supplies, a GMS Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program, ensuring the smooth operation of our business processes.
Key Responsibilities- ERP System Management: Perform routine ticket management and escalations to drive ERP-related problems to final resolution.
- System Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the applications and infrastructure within the environment and how they impact employees, customers, and the business.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in the remote troubleshooting and resolution of customer incidents.
- User Management: Manage provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts.
- System Performance: Monitor system performance and usage to identify resource issues and maintain reliability.
- Software Releases: Assist in the coordination of new software releases, fixes, and upgrades with technical teams and users.
- Audit Coordination: Assist with the coordination and execution of external audits.
- Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational security rules and standards.
- Documentation: Document relevant business processes and their implications on ERP information security as relates to SOX required controls.
- Process Improvement: Support the continuous improvement culture through the identification of potential process/procedural improvements and/or participation on cross-functional/regional teams.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years related work experience.
- Education: Post-secondary degree/diploma in computer science, information technology, or related field considered an asset.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, demonstrated sense of urgency, strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills, continuous improvement and customer-centric mindset, good financial and business awareness, strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and strong knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
