Job Summary

The Field Installation Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of car wash installations across Ontario. This role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to internal teams and customers on equipment selection and installation.
  • Coordinate with customers, subtrades, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage project schedules, progress updates, and document control.
  • Supervise service technicians and provide on-site support for service and warranty issues.
  • Use internal software systems to manage projects and ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3 years of direct experience in field, construction, or mechanical project management.
  • Experience in the car wash industry or related fields is highly valued.
  • PMP Certification or working towards it is preferred.
  • Related certifications and licenses are an asset.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of equipment layout, technical drawings, and blueprints.
  • Ability to assemble, align, rig, lift, weld, and test car wash systems.
  • Understanding of electrical theory and function, including low-voltage control systems.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to guide installation crews and manage multiple stakeholders.

This role is based in Cambridge, Ontario, and requires 50% travel. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.
