Job Summary

The Field Installation Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of car wash installations within Ontario. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including customers, equipment installation teams, internal sales, and the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to internal team members and customers regarding equipment selection and installation.
  • Coordinate with customers, subtrades, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage project schedules, progress updates, and document control to ensure timely completion.
  • Supervise service technicians and provide on-site support for service and warranty issues.
  • Use internal software systems to manage projects and ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3 years of direct experience in field, construction, or mechanical project management.
  • Experience in the car wash industry or related industries is a strong asset.
  • PREFERRED: PMP Certification or other business-related diploma.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of equipment layout, technical drawings, and blueprints.
  • Ability to assemble, align, rig, lift, weld, and test car wash systems.
  • Understanding of electrical theory and function, including low-voltage control systems.
  • Effective project management skills, including communication, coordination, and prioritization.

This position is located in Cambridge, Ontario, and requires 50% travel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and project management expertise.
