About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning Expert to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial planning advice to clients and developing personalized financial plans to meet their life goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Needs Assessment: Identify clients' investment and financing needs to draft a personalized financial plan.
  • Financial Planning: Advise clients based on their needs and market trends to offer customized solutions.
  • Business Development: Create business development opportunities to increase the number of clients and the volume of existing portfolios.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure that service and operational quality standards are applied, and compliance and risk management rules are followed.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent recognized by the FP Canada.
  • Professional Certifications: Diploma from FP Canada, Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or be on track to obtain it within 12 months.
  • Licenses: Mutual fund representative (MFR) licence.
  • Experience: Experience in portfolio management with business development objectives and business development experience in the financial advisory services field.
