We are seeking a reliable and physically demanding Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at 1267635 Ontario INC.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to greenhouse maintenance, crop care, and plant production. This is a temporary position with a variable schedule, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain greenhouses, including cleaning equipment and disposing of waste
- Perform tasks related to crop care, such as weeding, pruning, and fertilizing
- Assist with plant propagation, including potting and transplanting
- Operate equipment such as chain saws and garden tractors
- Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a greenhouse or agricultural setting an asset
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with variable temperatures and humidity
- Reliable transportation to and from work
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and humidity. The position requires the ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.
