Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to greenhouse maintenance, crop care, and plant production. This is a temporary position with a variable schedule, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain greenhouses, including cleaning equipment and disposing of waste.
  • Perform tasks related to crop care, such as weeding, pruning, and fertilizing.
  • Assist with plant production, including potting, transplanting, and watering.
  • Operate equipment such as chain saws and garden tractors.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a greenhouse environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. The position requires the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in wet/damp conditions.
