We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Kralt Greenhouses Ltd. As a key member of our greenhouse team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and well-being of our plants.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized greenhouse environment, including the application of insecticides and fungicides as needed.
- Prepare and mix soils for optimal plant growth.
- Plant bulbs and seeds, and transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings as required.
- Apply fertilizers and water plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure optimal growth.
- Assist in grafting activities and report any signs of insect or disease damage.
- Operate jackhammers and drills to break up pavement as needed.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Staff accommodation is available on site.
- Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
- Language of work: English.
- Hours of work: 45 hours per week.
