About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at Shell College Park. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, ensuring adequate stock levels, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate stock levels and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory management strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30-35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with some physical demands involved.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; no degree, certificate, or diploma is necessary.
  • Will train on the job, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
