Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that customers receive an exceptional shopping experience at The Home Depot Canada. This position is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to sales associates, driving sales and profitability, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by acknowledging customers, meeting their project needs, and resolving complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sales and Inventory Management: Analyze sales and inventory reports to identify trends, define problems, and develop appropriate responses to drive sales and profitability.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop sales associates to provide quality customer service, meet sales goals, and maintain a positive store environment.
- Store Operations: Ensure that the store is properly stocked, and that daily inspections are completed to maintain a safe and clean store environment.
- Communication: Communicate store and Home Depot objectives to associates, and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of management experience, with a strong background in sales and customer service.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills, good communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
