About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Operations Manager to join our team at JBTL Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our retail operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring seamless execution of business strategies and plans.
  • Performance Evaluation: Regularly evaluate store operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for store operations, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Staff Management: Manage and develop a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to determine consumer demand, sales trends, and competitor activity, informing business decisions and strategies.
  • Merchandise Management: Determine the selection and procurement of merchandise for resale, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales, increase customer engagement, and promote the store brand.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize store performance.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Determine staffing requirements and create schedules to ensure adequate coverage and meet business needs.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive customer experience, resolving issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure store environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate adaptability, efficiency, goal-oriented behavior, a positive attitude, flexibility, judgment, organization, teamwork, maturity, patience, and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in retail operations or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
