Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Marble Slab Creamery & Poko Popcorn Prince George. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
- Assign sales workers to duties, including cash handling, stock management, and visual merchandising.
- Hire, train, and develop sales staff to meet the needs of our store.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including stock ordering and receiving.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Organized and detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
- English is the primary language of communication in this role.
