**Key Responsibilities:**
* Conduct comparative analyses of general ledger accounts to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Oversee the short and long-term budget process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Ensure the integrity of fixed asset projects, inventories, and databases by implementing effective controls and procedures.
* Analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenses, and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, and forward them to head office for review.
* Manage monthly tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Review project costs and ensure that they are in line with budgeted amounts.
* Process customer invoicing and follow up on customer files to ensure timely payment.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage bank deposits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Prepare the company for annual audits by ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
* Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent financial errors and irregularities.
* Supervise payroll processing and ensure that all employee payments are accurate and timely.
