Role Summary

What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Manager to oversee our ServiceNow development unit within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) sector. This position is perfect for a knowledgeable ServiceNow expert with a robust history in designing and architecting ServiceNow solutions, along with the leadership capabilities to steer a high-achieving team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a strong ability to foresee challenges and implement innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the design, architecture, and development of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security within the IAM framework.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement ServiceNow workflows that meet business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of ServiceNow developers, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in ServiceNow development, including coding standards and documentation.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges and areas for enhancement within the ServiceNow platform, leading the implementation of solutions.
  • Stay updated with ServiceNow enhancements and new features, evaluating their relevance to improve our IAM processes.
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and team resources to guarantee successful project execution.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of solid technical development experience in Java or JavaScript.
  • 4-5 years of practical experience in ServiceNow development, with a proven history of designing and architecting intricate ServiceNow applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the capability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of ServiceNow professionals.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to foresee challenges, propose solutions, and advance projects effectively. Highly motivated with the capacity to work independently and efficiently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AngularJS and Service Portal development in ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and best practices.
