Job Title: Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at The Parlour Restaurant. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including glassware and equipment
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
  • Record and balance beverage sales
  • Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Train and supervise staff
  • Collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bartender/Mixology Certification Course
  • Experience in a similar role
Work Environment:

The Parlour Restaurant is a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Bartender, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
