About The Parlour Restaurant

We are seeking a skilled Mixology Specialist to join our team at The Parlour Restaurant. As a key member of our bar operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all glassware and equipment are sanitized and stored properly.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and dismiss staff as needed to ensure a well-functioning team.
  • Beverage Sales and Inventory: Collect cash, credit/debit card payments, and record beverage sales. Order and maintain inventory of bar stock, adhering to provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic options. Take orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
  • Supervision: Lead a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Bartender/Mixology Certification Course
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with extended periods of standing.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, reliable, team player, and positive attitude.
