Evergreen Home for Special Care is a premier long-term care establishment featuring an eighteen-bed Children Centre and a ninety-seven-bed Senior Centre, located in the picturesque Annapolis Valley. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Full-Time Physiotherapist.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, the Physiotherapist will engage in comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, provide consultations, and implement interventions tailored to the needs of our residents. The role focuses on enhancing, restoring, and maintaining the functional capabilities of our residents while aligning with the strategic objectives of Evergreen Home.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
  • Active membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
  • Proven clinical experience in conducting physiotherapy assessments and delivering interventions for both children and seniors
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Current certifications in CPR are required

WORKING HOURS:

This is a permanent full-time position, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.
