The role of the Healthcare Administrative Coordinator involves a variety of essential tasks that support the efficient operation of a medical practice.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
This position is typically situated within a clinic or a physician's office.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient interviews to gather comprehensive case histories.
- Manage scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments.
- Complete and process insurance claims and other necessary documentation.
- Maintain an organized filing system for patient records.
- Order medical supplies and oversee inventory management.
- Establish and implement office procedures and routines.
- Input and format medical reports and correspondence electronically, as well as prepare spreadsheets and documents for review.
- Initiate and uphold confidential medical files and records.
- Proficient in MS Word.
- Experienced with electronic mail systems.
- Familiar with MS Windows operating systems.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- This is a permanent position.
- Work language is English.
- Expected working hours range from 30 to 40 hours per week.
