The 401 Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Automotive Service department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.
- Team Leadership: Develop and maintain a culture that values excellent customer service, effective training, supervision, coaching, and talent management.
- Service Centre Operations: Review and implement Service Centre policies and procedures to improve the customer experience through high-quality service and rapport building.
- Business Development: Develop and implement a long-term strategy and action plan to attract and retain customers, improve sales and profitability.
- Team Management: Recruit, develop, motivate, recognize, and hold accountable an Auto Service team that will meet established objectives and targets for sales and profitability.
- Financial Management: Monitor the operating budget by tracking sales and expenses, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and all other workplace regulations and policies.
- Quality and Safety: Promote service safety and security procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
- Education: Grade Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive service industry, with a minimum of 3 years of management experience in the automotive industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills, ability to adapt to a changing environment, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Automotive Knowledge: Strong computer and leadership skills, Automotive Technician's License is an asset.
