Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses, to ensure excellent customer service and efficient food preparation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, and ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with our quality control procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment, to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance, and maintain accurate records of staff training and development.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout your shift.

  • Team Player: You must be able to work collaboratively with staff and management to achieve team goals and objectives.
Language:

The primary language of work is English, and you must be fluent in English to be successful in this role.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 30 to 40 hours per week, and you must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
