Position Overview:
Patron Career Staffing is seeking a dedicated Payroll Coordinator to manage payroll and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize automated systems (ADP Workforce) to efficiently manage and update employee records, ensuring accurate pay and benefit calculations in both Canadian and international currencies.
  • Generate and verify employee earnings statements, detailing gross and net pay along with applicable deductions such as taxes, garnishments, and insurance contributions.
  • Oversee the preparation, verification, and processing of all payroll-related payments, including regular salaries, benefits, bonuses, and vacation payouts.
  • Complete and review documentation related to benefits administration, covering medical insurance, employment, pension plans, and leave entitlements.
  • Prepare essential paperwork for payroll filings, including year-end tax documents, pension statements, and Records of Employment.
  • Provide insights on collective bargaining agreements, benefit programs, and payroll-related inquiries.
  • Compile, analyze, and maintain statistical reports and summaries regarding compensation and benefits accounts.
  • Generate period-end reports, ensuring accuracy and reconciling payroll outputs with bank statements.
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies within payroll processes.
  • May assist in the development or implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for offering competitive freight rates and gathering transportation data to enhance procurement strategies.
  • Maintain logistics databases and seek opportunities for inventory optimization.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience with ADP.
