About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at 8463859 Canada Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide assistance with computer-related issues, including hardware and software problems.
  • Problem-Solving: Research and implement solutions to technical issues, using technical manuals and other resources as needed.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to users on how to use computer systems and software.
  • Log Maintenance: Maintain a log of problems and solutions for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Project Participation: Participate in the redesign of applications and other software, and provide input on technical requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Business Systems Support: Provide support for business systems, networks, and the Internet, including performing Web-server backup and recovery operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a technical support role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
