About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Solutions Specialist to join our team at Samuel Automation Solutions Group (ASG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom factory automation solutions for our clients in the health science, automotive, aerospace, and consumer product sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Sales team to understand customer automation needs and develop custom solution concepts.
  • Create detailed internal budgets and write proposals for opportunities.
  • Interface with various departments to incorporate feedback and ensure successful execution.
  • Collect technical details from customers and suppliers to inform solution development.
  • Analyze equipment supply for compliance with applicable standards.
  • Present solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a mentor for our Applications team to ensure optimum solutions are created for our customers.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary education in engineering, including electrical or mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in industrial automation, including 5 years of Applications/Technical Sales experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English.
